  • Theoi, E-Texts Library:
    • "The Theoi Classical E-Texts Library is a collection of works from ancient Greek and Roman literature in translation. The theme of the library is classical mythology and so the selection presented consists primarily of ancient poetry (epic, lyric, buculic, et. al.), drama and prose renditions of myth."
  • Perseus Digital Library:
    • The Perseus Digital Library, a project of the Department of Classics at Tufts University, includes a large collection of primary and secondary literature for the study of the Greek and Roman classics.
  • The Ancient Library: Bookshelf:
    • The Bookshelf of "The Ancient Library" holds the full texts of the Dictionary of Greek and Roman Biography and Mythology by William Smith (1867), the Dictionary of Greek and Roman Antiquities by William Smith (1870), the Dictionary of Classical Antiquities by Oskar Seyffert (1894), the Classical Gazetteer by William Hazlitt (1851), and other useful reference works.
  • Myth Index: Greek:
    • Myth Index calls itself "a complete index of Greek mythology, including titles and epithets of the gods." More than 3,700 names from Greek mythology are included in this online encyclopedia, with references to original sources.
  • Greek Mythology Link:
    • Greek Mythology Link is a collection of myths based on ancient sources retold by Carlos Parada, author of Genealogical Guide to Greek Mythology (Jonsered: Paul Astroms, 1993).
  • Encyclopedia Mythica:
    • This online encyclopedia is comprised of over 7,000 articles on subjects relative to Greek, Roman, Norse, Celtic, and Native American mythologies. A most helpful part of this encyclopedia is its Pronunciation Guide for English-speaking readers.
  • MythNet:
    • MythNet is "a site dedicated toward Greek Mythology and [is] one of the sections of Classics Unveiled." It includes descriptions of the Olympian Gods, the Titans, the lesser gods, heroes and notable characters in Greek mythology, genealogical charts, and information on the Trojan War.
  • Timeless Myths: Classical Mythology:
    • "The pages devoted to Classical myths, has [sic] been divided into four sections: 1. The Pantheon contains information of Greek deities, including the tale of the Creation and a number of other myths. 2. The Heroic Age contains information of Greek heroes and heroines. . . . 3.   • Greek and Roman Mythology Images:
    • This site offers a catalogue of linked images by ancient artists of persons, gods, and events from Greek epic and mythology. Many of the important events from the Epic of Troy were depicted by artists from classical Greece through drawing, painting, and sculpture.
  • The Greek Age of Bronze:
    • The Greek Age of Bronze" is "a site dedicated to "Weapons and warfare in the late Helladic time 1600-1100 BC." It includes pictorial descriptions of the Minoan and Mycenaean armor, helmets, weapons, shields, chariots, and ships. Altogether, this site is an excellent aid to the imagination as one reads the Iliad.
  • Project Troia:
    • Project Troia is the website of a current "international and interdisciplinary" excavation project in the Troad undertaken by the department of archaeology at the University of Tubingen, and the department of classics at the University of Cincinnati.
  • Was There a Trojan War?:
    • This article by Manfred Korfmann, published by Archaeology Magazine 57.3 (May/June 2004), briefly surveys popular conceptions and current scholarship on the subject of late Bronze Age Troy and its connection with Homeric Troy.
  • The Amazons:
    • This informative site, with original photos and maps, is developed by the Amazon Research Network, devoted to "the investigation of the historical Amazons."
